09/05/14Registration for Fall Show is Now Open
Registration for the Fall Show is now available. Click on the "auditions" tab and select the link to register in the lower right corner. If you haven't already downloaded the audition and callback materials from google, the materials are also posted in this area. We look forward to seeing you on Monday.

05/12/14ITH Wins 6 Cappies
This weekend 37 area high schools gathered to celebrate theatre in Greater Philadelphia at the Cappies. The Cappies is a national "Critics and Awards Program" which offers high school theatre and journalism students a chance to receive training as critics, attend and write reviews of regional high school shows with the opportunity to be published in an area newspaper.

The Plymouth Whitemarsh High School (PWHS) Colonial Players was nominated for 22 Cappies for its spring musical In the Heights. As part of its Best Song nomination, the In the Heights cast performed 96,000 to an energized and packed crowd.

Congratulations to the In the Heights cast, crew and pit of over 80 students who received 6 Cappies Awards on May 10th for:

The Colonial Players 2012 production of How To Succeed in Business earned 16 nominations in the Greater Philadelphia Cappies. Nominees include Musical (H2$), Song (Brotherhood of Man), Lead Actor (Ronnie Keller), Supporting Actor (Sam Silbiger), Comic Actor (Ben Walker), Comic Actress (Brynne Travis), Female Vocalist (Kelsey Plona), Featured Actor (Mike Tsoubanos), Featured Actress (Nikki Mann), Dance Ensemble (Mailroom Dancers), Ensemble (Businessmen), Scenic Design (PWHS Scenic Design Team), Shift Crew (PWHS Shift Crew led by Emily Jolley, Jesse Miller and Joe Yaure), Sound (Ahmad Attia, Carly Brooke, Adrian Franken, Sanjana Venkat), and Senior Male Critic (Sam Silbiger and Ben Walker). Congratulations to all. The winners will be announced at the annual Cappies Gala in Upper Darby on May 6, 2012.

When you come to the show, bring a gently used children's or young adult book to donate! All books will help to establish two children's libraries in Ghana and Swaziland through the groups Project Educate in Africa and the African Library Project.

Congratulations to all who auditioned for Titanic the musical. The cast list is now posted and can be found on the Shows page by clicking on the Titanic logo. There is a mandatory cast meeting on Friday, December 3 at 2:30 in the auditorium.

Congratulations to all who auditioned. There is a callback list for Tuesday, November 30 posted on the Auditions page. Callbacks will begin in the auditorium at 3:30. Remember, there are lots of parts in this show that are not being called back. If you name is not on the list, you may still end up with a featured or chorus part.

AUDITIONS will take place the day AFTER Labor Day, on Tuesday, September 7th from 2:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Additionally, callbacks will ALSO occur on the evening of September 7th from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. Please bring a snack and/or dinner with you in the event you are asked to stay for callbacks. THE CRUCIBLE show dates this fall will be November 11, 12, 13 at 7:30 p.m. in PWs AUDION.
